A mobile notary is a commissioned notary public who will meet you at a time and location that is convenient to you. No wasting time or fuel. Let me come to you!
Although some banks and most shipping stores do offer limited notary services, you may find the one in your area places restrictions on the types of documents they will notarize, will only provide notary services for certain clients (minimum deposit may be required at the bank), or only provides notary services on specific days (based on the notary's schedule). If you cannot get the notary services you need at one of these options, a mobile notary may be just what you're looking for. After hours appointments are also a mobile notary's specialty!
Acceptable forms of identification include a state issued driver license, state issued identification card, passport, or military identification. Each type listed here must be current (expired less than one year MAY be accepted in certain circumstances). It's always best to speak to me directly if you need to discuss other forms of ID.
Rate is based on time, travel, and number of documents and varies slightly based on location. Minimum rate is $50 and full details on rate are listed on the General Notary Details page. For additional questions regarding rates, please contact me directly. I'm always happy to provide a no-obligation quote.
Yes! I offer discounts exclusively to law enforcement, veteran, and active duty military members. Please be sure to mention this when calling to schedule an appointment!
Some documents such as those related to estate planning and out-of-state Mortgages do require a witness to be present and sign. In those cases, it is best to speak to the person from whom you received the document to determine if there are any requirements regarding who can be a witness. Generally speaking, all witnesses must be at least 18 years of age and have no interest in the transaction the document is related to (also known as a disqualifying interest). Depending on location and flexibility in scheduling, I do have individuals who can serve as witnesses for an additional fee.
Yes, in most cases I can notarize document written in a foreign language. The notarial certificate must be in English but if it isn't, I may be able to simply attached a loose certificate. In this situation it is best to speak to me directly and you may be asked to provide me a copy of the document.
Colorado State requires that the notary be able to communicate directly with the signer, which means they would need to speak English. Although the use of an interpreter may be allowed, there are strict rules around what is acceptable according to Colorado rules. Please contact me directly in order to discuss further.
Currently I accept cash, card (Visa, MC, AmEx), Venmo, and PayPal
Yes, I am happy to accommodate invoices.
Yes! In fact, this is the most common type of document I encounter. I do recommend you look over the entire Power of Attorney document to see if it requires any witnesses to be present at the time of signing. And be sure the document is unsigned until you are in my presence.
Absolutely! Every new employee will need to have an I9 verified to show they have a legal right to work in the United States. Normally, this is completed by the Human Resources department. With the increase in remote work situations, many new employees do not live near the office and will be asked to locate a notary to do the verification for you. You must show the correct forms of ID so please call if you have any questions. It is best to ensure you have the correct ID available before I arrive.
